Happy Thanksgiving from Great Lakes Academy!
Here at GLA, we have so much to be thankful for. Although we have been in the community for only three months, we've seen incredible growth in our scholars, support from our families and hard work from our dedicated teachers. All of this makes us realize that while it’s important to always push to be the best we can be, it’s equally important to take a step back and recognize all that we’ve accomplished together as a team.
In the spirit of the holidays, we went around and asked some scholars what they’re most thankful for this holiday season. Here’s what they had to say!
I’m thankful for…
“Being with my family.”
“Going to this school.”
“My mom, dad, grandpa and my brother Joel."
“Sharing. I share with my sister.”
“Me and my mom getting to eat food together every night. And sometimes, my cousins come over and eat!"
"My dog and guinea pig."
"Going to school to grow my brain."
"My family, toys, my school and teachers"
