As Thanksgiving break draws to an end, we would like take this time to reflect on the amazing year we've had so far. We have an unbelievably dedicated and talented staff; passionate, curious and hard working scholars; and incredibly dedicated families! Everyday our scholars are growing their brains and pushing their academic limits.

We hope everyone had a wonderful break! We're excited to welcome scholars back tomorrow and finish the first half of the 2016-2017 school year on a super strong note!

End of the Year Field Trips!

Friday June 3rd was a busy day here at Great Lakes Academy! We had three trips! Our first graders visited Avalon Library and got the chance to check out some books for summer reading! Scholars even recieved free books from the librarians!

Second grade went to Wagner Farm and learned about all sorts of farm animals and how they're taken care of! Our scholars look so small next to the cows!

Kindergarten got to explore Lincoln Park Zoo! Our kiddos were all tuckered out by the time they got back to school at the end of the day. We thank all of our parent volunteers for helping us create wonderful memories for our children!
